Before You Invest in an Autism Coach, Read This

This has been sitting on my chest for wuite some time and although I did a video on this last week, I feel you deserve some follow up on:
“How Instagram algorithm & unregulated Coaching Industry is shaping your wallet & ur childs future”.
Anyone can become a coach. They dont need degree nor license to open an online (even more unregulated space) shingle & start charging WHAT THEY THINK THEY ARE WORTH PLUS TAX!
How do I know?
At the beginning when I realised that there are literally millions of autistic kids/ families with the wrong idea about Diet. I couldn’t sleep knowing that millions of autistic children and their families were being told that diet doesn’t matter, that 10 hours of screen time is acceptable, and other harmful misconceptions. I felt called to unravel the truth.
I joined many of those facebook groups. You know the groups where tens or even hundreds of thousands of parents go for advice?
I would read posts, share my advice on what was working and will work and most of the times got either laughed at least once and even banned from the groups at most!
Then I decided, i will talk in Instagram as Facebook was too toxic.
Then more “autism mom influencers” ganged up on me, leaving me mentally and emotionally devastated (In reality ra*ed my mind and heart).
I stopped. Concentrated on Autism Research as a trained, published scientist & reviewer of journal.
That space was also politically poluted with big pharma agenda. I was a naive, autistic adult who never was taught or allowed to think for themselves.
My husband told me why dont you save up and go to some biz coach?
I did, and i spent and spent and spent. And here are the top brainwashing aspiring autism coaches (who go to all these biz coaches) learn to do / become:
1) You need to be only ONE STEP ahead of ur client!
I mean what gaslighting BS is that? How is that ethical? And EVERY SINGLE ONE of those biz coaches (I went to Several top names mind you!) who taught all that, now went through some dark night of the soul and has either changed their biz model or stepped down!
2) You DONT need a degree to be an expert!!
Omg I believe its clear enough why that is DANGEROUS but just adding a few notes: Unless a coach is a NATUROPATHIC DOCTOR degree holder please DO NOT rely on:
- Holistic health coach
- Detox specialist
- Clinical child development
- Integrated health practioner (with just a certificate)
Because DEGREE AND CERTIFICATION IS EARTH AND MARS level difference!!
Degree is given by an academic institution with government and other legislation after someone studies for 3-4 years. Spending upwards of 100K!
Certifications can be achieved by spending 100-300$ from a private company who do not have same academic qualifications and footing as Degree givers.
3) Copy whats working for others and build Instagram following because that is AUTHORITY
Oh, this is the issue that weighs most heavily on my heart. You listen closely to anyone over 10K and if they are 100K then they are an establishment themselves.
I see big pages/ accounts copies authentic posts of small accounts who worked tirelessly, thought deeply, and remained humble, yet may not have had the strongest marketing skills.
That is very unfair. So either you suck it up or fight toothe and nail (if you have time because you dont have enough clients keeping you busy)
Anyways, the need is here for you to work on YOUR EMOTIONS & Mental Strength.
So that you can pinpoint toxic personality and meager personnels posing about being a hot shot.
If someone says in this year so far they worked with 76 kids and ALL of them recovered speech that is STATISTICALLY BULLSHIT.
It’s mathematically impossible to have 100% results. Plus you ONLY see 1-4 testimonials!
Also, a non verbal suddenly talking "too much" is also actually NOT GREAT because that means the childs brain still hasn't made enough social understanding and they are stress talking.
